In 2018, Toyota gave the Alphard a facelift and introduced the third generation of the Alphard to the market in January 2018. The changes were most prominent in the exterior and the powertrain, with a slight change to the interior equipment as well. The Alphard hybrid version comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine which has a power output rating of 152 PS and a torque of 206 Nm with its 2JM electric front motor that can generate 143 PS and a torque of 270 Nm and a 2FM electric rear motor that can generate 68 PS and a torque of 139 Nm.
The hybrid model of the Toyota Alphard has an electronic continuously variable transmission. Some special features that the Toyota Alphard 2018 comes with include the LED headlamps that have LED sequential turn indicators, and LED fog lamps in the front and the rear.
The vehicle comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED tail lamps that include LED sequential turn indicators.
